Manifestation and Self-Discovery: Embracing Possibilities for Transformation
When people learn about my spiritual inclinations, a common question arises: How does manifestation work?
However, I'm not one to adopt bias simply because of my inclinations. I maintain a neutral stance and seek understanding in all matters that intrigue me. Manifestation captures my interest primarily because it's intricately connected to thoughts, a psychological phenomenon that fascinates me.
Nuances of Manifestation
In my exploration of manifestation, I've discovered subtle nuances often overlooked.
Again, I want to emphasize that I approach manifestation from a neutral standpoint—I simultaneously acknowledge and question its principles. (Disclaimer - potential trigger ahead).
Unraveling the Complexity of Manifestation
When discussing manifestation, many describe it as a simple process of materializing thoughts with the right energy. However, beneath this seemingly straightforward concept lies a complex reality— addressing deep-rooted traumas. This complexity leads to differing perspectives on suffering and attachment within spiritual and psychology communities.
Perspectives on Suffering and Attachment
Spiritual individuals often view suffering as a manifestation of human concepts, advocating that attachment and desires lead to worldly suffering. In doing so, they may unintentionally overlook and dismiss their own hardships, which I perceive as a coping mechanism.
Similarly, religious organizations discuss the importance of suffering for personal growth. They emphasize sacrifices and hard work as prerequisites for success, promoting values of diligence and selflessness over greed.
The Power to Change
Considering this perspective, manifestation and the deeply ingrained thoughts from childhood may indeed have contributed to our traumas. As I mentioned earlier, this realization can be triggering for many individuals who already struggle with self-blame and suffering.
However, entertaining this idea also suggests something empowering—we possess the ability to instigate change.
Embracing Reality
In a recent conversation with a client, we delved into the conditional relationship people often have with truth. Many individuals avoid confronting harsh realities, preferring to remain oblivious, which ultimately renders them powerless. Why? Because acknowledging the truth is the first step toward effecting positive change. Much like a GPS tracker, understanding your current location is essential for charting a path to your desired destination. Similarly, to manifest our desires, we must accept our current circumstances and comprehend the full extent of our reality, no matter how disheartening it may seem.
Manifestation as a Tool
Despite the controversy surrounding manifestation, I believe that everything we encounter in this world can serve as a tool for enhancing our lives. How we utilize these tools ultimately depends on us.
The Process of Manifestation
Exploring the concept of manifestation can empower you to take control of your life and shape your desired reality. While countless methods for manifestation exist online, I'll share my insights on the matter.
Understanding the Mechanics
The key to manifestation lies in cultivating your thoughts and emotions. Consider it as aligning with a natural force. Just as thoughts carry an energetic charge, akin to electricity in quantum terms, emotions emit a magnetic field. To manifest your desired reality, immerse yourself in the thought with unwavering belief, allowing it to resonate deeply within you. Picture your thoughts as electronic waves and your emotions as magnetic forces. As per the principles of physics, when an electromagnetic field is established, it attracts elements of similar frequency. Thus, by aligning your thoughts and emotions, you create a magnetic pull towards your desired reality.
Internal and External Triggers- A Bidirectional Connection
Let's break it down with an everyday example: Think back to your school days when your focus was solely on your current grade until final exams neared. You were immersed in your class until exams reminded you of the upcoming transition.
Our viewpoints often stay fixed until external events shake them up and similarly the internal events can shake up your external reality as well.
Internal triggers, like the thoughts and beliefs we choose, can lead to significant external changes. For instance, when you feel anxious on stage, deliberately taking a deep breath and opening your hands can bring calmness. These actions show your conscious effort to take control and present yourself differently. As a result, when you strongly think something and feel it in your heart and believe in it- before it happens in the physical reality, it eventually comes true externally, though it may take time.
Non-Attachment and Time
Now, about not getting hung up on time: sometimes we stress about when things should happen. But letting go of that stress opens up possibilities. Think about "Interstellar," where time on a distant planet moves way slower than on Earth.
Imagine living on a planet where space and time are different, and manifestation has no time constraints. Instead of fixating on the energy of time, trust in your heart that what you've asked for will come to fruition.
Strengthen your electromagnetic field with every breath, word, and action, bringing your desires closer and closer to reality.
If, from your limited perspective, you believe that something should have manifested by now and it hasn't, you might begin manifesting fear and further delays by dwelling on its absence. Therefore, non-attachment pertains to letting go of the notion of time. Once you release attachment to space and time, things start to unfold.
Conscious and Unconscious Alignment
Here's another important point: your conscious thoughts are different from your unconscious ones. If you have hidden beliefs that don't match what you consciously want, you might face delays and feel like something's missing. Understanding and awareness of these thoughts and integrating is another key.
For instance, if you want to attract financial abundance but deep down you believe you have to work endlessly for it, or that money doesn't grow on trees, or that rich people must have done something wrong to have what they have, you'll struggle to attract abundance. Even if you try hard, these conflicting thoughts will push abundance away. So, it's crucial to align your beliefs with what you desire.
Acceptance and Growth
There's a lot of inner work needed to uncover unconscious thoughts and shift these stories which is keeping away your desires. Whatever shows up during this process—whether positive or negative—is part of the journey, and you need to embrace it.
Resilience in Manifestation
Conscious manifestation isn't easy—it requires courage. As I mentioned earlier, the way manifestation works involves understanding your conscious and unconscious thoughts. If your beliefs don't match your desires, it's essential to delve into your subconscious and reshape your mindset. Everything that unfolds during this process, whether positive or negative, is part of your journey, and you must acknowledge it. As challenges arise, self-blame may intensify, making it harder to navigate alone.
Personal Integrity and Professionalism
As for me, my spiritual journey revolves more around understanding emotions and energies rather than just focusing on manifestation. Being a sensitive person, I'm deeply intrigued by the interplay of feelings and thoughts.
I approach manifestation differently from others. As a mental health coach, I witness firsthand the profound suffering people endure. It's not about how they got there but acknowledging their pain and resilience. Professionally, I separate my personal beliefs from my practice. Blaming individuals for their struggles isn't productive. Our upbringing profoundly shapes us, and undoing that conditioning isn't easy. I have immense respect for everyone's journey, whether they engage in spiritual practices or not.
Embracing Possibilities
That being said, if the process of manifestation offers a potential pathway to change our reality, there's no harm in considering its possibilities, is there? Engaging with manifestation can be empowering as it grants us the ability to shape our own realities.
Reflecting back, one of the epiphanies I had long ago was realizing that our mind is a physical manifestation of thoughts.
In conclusion, the concept of manifestation is intriguing, but much like everything else in life, it carries both positive and negative aspects. Ultimately, the way you approach manifestation determines its impact on your life. You can either view it conditionally, expecting only positive outcomes, or embrace it for its nuanced reality.
